Life was meant to be enjoyed. Yes, we need to take care of ourselves by eating right, getting plenty of sleep and exercising, but another huge aspect of healthy is happiness. If we don't ever allow ourselves time to just relax and enjoy the little things we become too uptight, unhappy and people don't like to be around us. Enjoy your Thanksgiving! I intend to have stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy. I will have a piece of pumpkin pie.... okay, who are we kidding, I will have at least two! And, I will top off that pumpkin pie with a helping of chocolate cream pie. Enjoy your family, friends and food - I sure am going to!! Just remember that it is a holiday, not a holiweek, and get yourself back on track soon afterwards.
