I'm sure this is what I look like on days that I spend a lot of time sitting in front of my computer. I am one of the fortunate souls that has a job that keeps me moving, so I am not used to prolonged bouts of sitting. Most of us however, aren't so lucky and spend most of our days on our backsides. This is detrimental to your health and body. Here are a few tips to keep you moving throughout the day. I guarantee if you start following these simple tips you will notice a
huge difference not only in how you feel but how much more clear headed
and productive you are.

New Study Shows French Fries Are Good For You!
I love french fries. They are one of my many weaknesses, and I could sit down and eat an entire large order of fries all by myself. I so desperately would love for this greasy, starchy food to be good for me, so I have decided to write a post about the health benefits of french fries, because everyone knows if it's on the internet it must be true. Why Am I Always Hungry?!
Ever wonder why you can eat 2,000 calories throughout the day and still be hungry all of the time? You pound the calories but never feel satisfied, or you are full only to be starving again an hour or two later. Then, to rub salt into the wound, your health-nut coworker eats like a bird and never seems to lose control with ravenous hunger pains come 3:00. Women, One Word: LIFT!
Ladies, it is important for you to understand the importance of weight training. Too many of you don't do it because you are afraid of bulking up, and look at the free-weight area of a gym as the "men's section". When you think of weight training the image comes to mind of the hulking man with veins popping out, carrying around a gallon jug of water perfecting his barbaric yelp. Though there are a few of these characters lurking around the free-weight area, most are just regular people, men and women alike. The Trifecta of Fitness
There's a common little term that we trainers use - "Great abs are created in the kitchen, not the gym". There is a misconception that all you have to do is diet to loose weight, or run 10 miles to look great. What is not understood however, is that you have to have a trifecta of key ingredients to make it all work, and you can't really have one without the others to be effective .
